Bernese Oberland, Switzerland

For our last trip in Switzerland we spent the day in the Bernese Oberland region, which is in the Alps. First we took the train to Interlaken. After wadering around the shops and eating a lunch of brats and the worst grilled cheese I’ve ever had (so sad), we took a train farther up the mountain to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen we took a gondola lift to Mürren. In Mürren we wandered around the cute little streets. It was very quaint and quiet. From Mürren we took another gondola lift to Gimmelwald. In Gimmelwald we found a restaurant with awesome mountain views where we ate cheese fondue and bread at a little outdoor table on the edge of the cliff face. We had a good day.
