Milan, Italy

The last day of our Italy trip was spent in Milan. Milan has more of a big city feel than any other Italian city we visited. It’s the center of fashion and banking in the country. By the time we got there we were beyond exhausted, so our day in Milan was pretty relaxed.

We started the day with a guided tour that included La Scala Theater, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan cathedral, Sforza Castle, and Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper“. After our tour we ate an awesome lunch of saffron risotto and pizza. Our train ride home was about four hours through the Alps. It was very pretty and we were very glad to be headed home.
