Venice, Italy

Last week we took a six-day trip to Italy. This trip was fun because the main attraction in Italy is the country itself. Most other places we’ve visited have a long list of museums and cathedrals to see. In Italy, our schedule was much more flexible than it normally is when we’re trying to pack in museums and other sites. We spent lots of our time wandering around the streets and enjoying the awesome food.

Our first stop was Venice, Italy. Venice is small, beautiful, and charming. It’s one of my favorite European cities.

We went to the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Basilica, St. Mark’s Square, and did general exploring via water taxi. It was HOT, but still very enjoyable.
