Leaf peeping / Pumpkin Festival / Cookie Bars

Last weekend while Peter’s parents were in town we went leaf peeping in the White Mountains, stayed at an adorable little B&B, and spent the next day at the Keene Pumpkin Festival.

The entire scene was totally charming, wonderful, yada, yada, yada.

As fun as all that was, the whole reason behind the trip was to have an excuse to get a Chocolate Caramel Walnut Bar from Kristin’s Bistro & Bakery. Two years ago my brother introduced us to Kristin’s Bakery and the amazing cookie bars. Alex, who is a true cookie connoisseur, has deemed this his favorite cookie bar. They were just as good as we remembered. We now have two tucked away in our freezer for a rainy day.

Posts from our same adventures two years ago with Alex & Molly here, here, and here.
