Peter’s 28th Birthday

I think this year might have been one of the best birthdays Peter has ever had. The festivities lasted several days, and we had a blast.

Wednesday, March 9 was his actual birthday. That day was made special by the new chocolate pie recipe I discovered. It has officially changed our lives.

Thursday after work we drove to Seattle.

Friday morning we woke up to the twins (they got CUTER if you can believe it!) and then headed to Leavenworth, WA where we spent the night in a little house we had rented.

Saturday was spent partially in Leavenworth and partially in Seattle. We enjoyed German cuisine as well as all the awesomeness that Pike Place has to offer.

Sunday after church we drove home in a heavy rainstorm. Surprise, surprise.

Phew. Best birthday week ever. Peter and I are once again the same age (28). Here’s hoping Peter’s 28th year can top his 27th year. I’m pretty sure it will.
